Who We Are
OneTouch Community Center is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting adults with disabilities as they build the skills, confidence, and connections needed for greater independence. We are creating an inclusive community where individuals can learn, grow, participate, and feel a true sense of belonging.
Our Story
OneTouch Community Center was born from years of working with adults with disabilities and seeing what can happen when a parent, caregiver, or loved one is no longer able to provide support. With limited independent housing options in Polk County, some individuals had to leave their communities and relationships they had known for years. These experiences inspired our vision to create a place where adults with disabilities can belong, grow, and live as independently as possible while remaining connected to their community. At OneTouch Community Center "Where Everybody Is Somebody."
